€2.8m worth of cocaine seized at Dublin Port

Revenue officers have seized €2.8 million worth of cocaine at Dublin Port.

Around 40kg of the drug was discovered concealed in the floor cavity of a trailer.

The trailer was being towed by a vehicle that had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg in France yesterday.

A man in his 50s was arrested.

He is being questioned at a garda station in Dublin.
