Podcast: RTÉ payments, China deals and Eurovision
· RTE.ieRTÉ has revised its top 10 highest-earning presenters to include Derek Mooney after it said it "reconsidered what constitutes a presenter".
The broadcaster said it made the decision "to consider all personnel holding dual roles" for inclusion in the top 10 presenters list.
Mr Mooney was previously classified as a producer and therefore not included on the list.
On Behind the Story, Fran McNulty and Adam Maguire discuss the latest controversy for the broadcaster - including the timeline, political reaction and what the next steps are.
Eurovision fallout
Evelyn O'Rourke also joins the podcast from Vienna ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest final tomorrow.
Ireland is one of a number of national broadcasters boycotting the competition this year after the European Broadcasting Union confirmed Israeli broadcaster Kan would be allowed to compete.
"This event is the largest live music event in the world and RTÉ has an incredibly deep history with this contest," she said.
"The purpose of being here was to get that sense of what is the story with the boycott, what is the impact and how have things moved or changed or have they."
Asked about the atmosphere this year as opposed to others, Evelyn said: "It definitely feels quieter, it feels very managed as well.
"There are, of course, Eurovision Irish fans here, but they’re not in the same numbers at all."
