Watch: Dancing bus driver wants to make you smile

A bus driver in Dublin who shares videos of himself dancing on TikTok has said he hopes his content will bring a smile to people's faces.

Manpreet Sharma moved to Ireland from India 20 years ago and has worked for Dublin Bus for almost six.

When he’s not driving, he’s likely dancing.

"My philosophy in life is, don’t be too serious, go out and have fun," he told RTÉ News.

"There are wars going on in the world. It’s very important to give a happy message to people to stay positive and put a smile on their face and get through the day."

Manpreet records himself dancing on his bus on the roadside and in the depot, and some of his videos have hundreds of thousands of views.

He now gets recognised by passengers on board.

"Customers getting on the bus say, 'Are you the driver from TikTok? Keep up the good work, we love your videos’. I get good feedback, it’s great," he said.

"I love just giggling with the public, looking after customers and bringing them from A to B."
