BBC Strictly Come Dancing week 4 spoiler leaks as fans fume 'seems unfair'

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left saying the same thing after the week four results leaked - and they "weren't expecting" the outcome of the dance-off

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts were taken aback by the week four spoilers, with many expressing their surprise at the unexpected results leaked online.

Each week, a source from the Strictly studios shares the outcome with spoiler site StrictlySpoiler.com, helmed by Dave Thorp. Despite the results show being pre-recorded straight after Saturday's live show, instead of live the following day, the information provided has proven to be reliable.

Efforts to conceal that the results are recorded on the same day are comprehensive, including a full wardrobe change for the stars and references to "yesterday" and "last night".

In line with tradition, the blog cautions its readers to address any grievances directly to the BBC, not to the spoiler site. However, after the dance-off details and the eliminated contestant were disclosed, many chose to share their views online.

One viewer commented on social media: "Just seen the Strictly spoiler and tbh was not expecting that. Seems unfair," reports the Mirror.

Echoing the sentiment, another said: "I was about to be disappointed that there was no Strictly spoiler but then Dave came through!"

Yet another individual agreed with the results, posting: "I agree with the result. The right couple was saved," which was reinforced by someone else who added: "Right choice to go."

The concern among fans grew when the usual Saturday night leak was delayed (on October 12), leading to apprehension. Dave then informed his followers: "Just a heads up that it could be very late with the spoiler tonight or even tomorrow as no moles have come forward as yet.

"No moles never means no spoiler and I will post the spoiler as soon as I know so no need to bombard me with messages on the socials asking if I've heard yet!"

Emerging reports reveal that the BBC is striving to clamp down on the spoiler, with an insider expressing their irritation: "Enough is enough, it isn't fair on the fans, they look forward to tuning in to see who will be dancing together."

Last night's bottom of the leaderboard saw Dr Punam Krishan and her dance partner Gorka Marquez take that spot, while DIY SOS staple Nick Knowles was just above them with a score of 21.

Meanwhile, at the summit, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec wowed the judges scoring an impressive 39 points, closely followed by Jamie Borthwick and Wynne Evans who earned themselves 34 points.
