US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded a third straight week of net inflows last week. Ether ETFs moved in the other direction, posting net outflows after a strong prior week.
The data comes from SoSoValue, which tracks daily fund flows for US crypto ETFs. The figures were reported on October 5, 2026.
The weekly numbers show a split among the largest crypto funds. Bitcoin products drew new money, while Ether products saw investors pull cash out.
Bitcoin ETFs Extend Their Inflow Streak
Bitcoin ETFs took in $241.1 million in net inflows last week. That lifted their cumulative net inflows to $57.8 billion since launch.
The funds also added money in each of the two weeks before. Inflows totaled $2.4 billion in one of those weeks and $6.2 million in the other.
Year-to-date net inflows for Bitcoin ETFs now stand at about $1.2 billion. That figure reflects all money added and withdrawn since the start of 2026.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs hold actual Bitcoin rather than futures contracts. They let investors gain exposure to the asset through a regular brokerage account.
Bitcoin was trading at about $86,200 at the time of the report, according to CoinGecko. The price was up 3.7% over the past seven days.
Ether ETFs Reverse Course
Ether ETFs recorded $138 million in net outflows last week. The week before, the same funds had attracted $690 million in net inflows.
Even with the outflows, Ether ETFs remain positive for the year. Year-to-date net inflows stood at about $1.5 billion, according to SoSoValue.
Spot Ether ETFs work the same way as their Bitcoin counterparts. Each fund holds Ether directly on behalf of its shareholders.
Ether traded at about $2,727 at the time of the report. The price rose 3% over the past seven days, according to CoinGecko.
That means Ether ETFs posted outflows during a week when the price of Ether went up. Bitcoin, by comparison, saw both rising prices and fresh inflows.
Zcash funds posted their first weekly outflow on record. The funds shed about $94 million over the week.
Before last week, the Zcash products had never recorded a week of net outflows. The $94 million figure marks the end of that run.
Other altcoin ETFs kept their streaks going. Solana ETFs added $2.4 million, while XRP ETFs added $4.7 million.
Both Solana and XRP funds have now extended runs of consecutive inflow weeks. Their weekly totals were smaller than those of the Bitcoin and Ether products.
Market sentiment cooled slightly over the period. Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index measures investor mood on a scale from 0 to 100.
The index remained in “Greed” territory at 70 in its latest reading. That was down from a previous reading of 74.
