Alaskan Bush People's Gabriel Brown's Wife Files for Divorce: Split Details

Alaskan Bush People star Gabriel "Gabe" Brown's wife, Raquell Brown, has filed for divorce after seven years of marriage, Us can exclusively confirm.

Raquell filed for divorce on September 22, stating in legal docs obtained by Us that her and Gabe's marriage is "irretrievably broken."

TMZ previously reported in July that the pair were separated. Us can confirm that Raquell and Gabe, 36, have been living in separate homes since April.

Raquell, who shares three children with the reality star, currently resides in Minnesota, per the docs, while Gabe is living in Washington.

According to the filing, the exes have no real property, but Raquell is asking the court to divide their personal property fairly.

Raquell is also asking that she and Gabe be responsible for the "debts they incurred after the date of separation."

She is reserving the right to request spousal support on a temporary basis and at the time of the trial, per the docs.

Raquell is also asking that the court make Gabe be responsible for paying her attorney fees and any additional costs pertaining to their divorce proceedings.

Additionally, Raquell is seeking child support from her estranged husband, including medical support, for their three children.

She wants Gabe to pay a portion of their kids' daycare expenses, long distance transportation fees and education expenses, including any future college or vocational school assistance.

Raquell's filing also requests the court's assistance in approving her proposed parenting plan.

Us has reached out to Raquell's attorney for comment.

Gabe's brother Bear Brown - who acts as a de facto spokesperson for the family frequently - commented on the divorce news on Tuesday, September 29, confirming, "Yes, Gabe is getting divorced."

"Stuff happens," Bear, 39, said via a TikTok video. "I hope that everything can be done peacefully and work out and everything be what's best for the children, because that's what you should do."

Fans were introduced to Gabe on Alaskan Bush People during the show's 2014 premiere, following his family and their unconventional lifestyle living off the grid.

Gabe's courtship with Raquell was later featured on the series after the pair were introduced by his sister Rain Brown in 2018. The couple tied the knot in January 2019, with a second reception airing on Alaskan Bush People the following year.

"All of my nervousness, the pre-wedding jitters and all of that, it just stopped as soon as I saw Raquell walking down the aisle," Gabe said during the 2020 TV special. "It was like I was coming through a storm on a dark night and all of a sudden I pulled into a nice, safe harbor."

Six years later, Gabe and Raquell quietly parted ways.
