2026 EZI Ray 01 e-scooter Malaysia launch, RM2,288

Now in Malaysia is the 2026 EZI Ray 01 electric scooter (e-scooter), priced at RM2,288 till June 30, 2026 or while stocks last. Usually priced at RM4,688, this special price for the Ray 01 is applicable after the MForce.Cas rebate of RM2,400, with pricing excluding insurance and registration.

The Ray 01 e-scooter comes in four colour options – Nova White, Plasma Blue, Venus Grey and City Black. Designed for the urban market, the Ray 01 features a combination of affordability, practical features and efficiency for riders wanting to make an initial transition in the electric mobility market.

With a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects, a 2 kW electric motor drives the Ray 01, with power coming from a 72-Volt, 32 Ah lead-acid battery. This gives the Ray 01 a maximum speed of 68 kmh, with range claimed to be 120 km at 25 kmh.

Suspension for the Ray 01 is basic, as expected at this price point. Front suspension uses telescopic forks while the rear end is propped up by twin shock absorbers adjustable for spring preload.

For braking, single hydraulic brake discs front and rear stop the Ray 01. Tyre sizing for the Ray 01 is identical front and rear, with 10-inch wheels wearing 90/90 rubber.

Riding conveniences include three ride modes as well as a walk assist function for pushing the Ray 01 around, Type-A USB charging port, and NFC and keyless start. Riding information is displayed on an LED screen while LED lighting is used throughout, with weight listed at 130 kg, and a seat height of 735 mm.
