Kildare motorist had no insurance, tax or NCT
Naas Roads Policing stopped the vehicle following an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) alert
by Ken Phelan · Leinster LeaderWhile on patrol on Monread Road, Kildare recently, members of the Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle following an ANPR alert indicating no insurance, tax, or NCT.
As a result of the offences, Fixed Charge Penalty Notices were issued for:
- No Insurance Disc
- No NCT
- No Motor Tax
A €180 fine and three penalty points were applied.
Also, a court appearance will follow for no insurance, and the vehicle has been impounded.
A garda spokesperson said: “Driving without valid insurance, tax, or NCT puts everyone at risk and carries serious consequences.
“Please ensure your vehicle is fully compliant before taking to the road."
