Plans submitted for €2.5m residential development in this Kildare town

The development is planned for Green Lane, Leixlip, Co Kildare

A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for a €2.5m residential development in Leixlip, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), planning application number 25189 was submitted to the local authority on December 19 2025.

The address of the proposed development is given as: Mount View, Green Lane, Leixlip, Co Kildare.

The proposed scheme comprises the construction of 11 three-storey dwelling houses as part of a residential development.

The development would consist of 10 4-bed semi-detached houses and 1 4-bed detached house along with alteration of existing front vehicular access off Green Lane leading to access roadway.

All associated site development works, boundary treatment, landscaping open space, ESB networks sub-station, car parking, bicycle storage, bin storage, service connections and including demolition of existing detached dwelling house are also included.

The architect for the proposed development is John Henry Architect.
