Residents of two Kildare estates face long delays leaving their homes because of traffic congestion

'This busy junction should be upgraded'

by · Leinster Leader

A call has been made for a busy junction in Naas to be upgraded.

Cllr Carmel Kelly wants the busy Sallins Road/Monread Avenue junction at Hennessey’s Garage/Applegreen to be included in a planned programme of works.

Cllr Kelly has also asked Kildare County Council confirm if the two sets of traffic lights on the Sallins Road at this junction and at the Naas GAA premises entrance "are calibrated to take into account the residents of Cherry Grove and Hillside who are experiencing huge issues accessing and exiting their estates."
