Benefit fans bag £27 mascara for less than £7 in Boots Star Gift deal

Boots has launched a Star Gift deal that will see shoppers snap up a full-sized Benefit mascara worth £27 for less than £7 this Black Friday weekend. It comes as the health and beauty retailer has reduced the Benefit Fresh Baked Beauty bestsellers kit to under £35 in a better-than-half-price offer.

The gift set, which contains five of the brand’s bestselling products, is worth £96, but shoppers can get their hands on it for £34.50. Coming in a cake-themed box in line with the brand’s ‘Benemart’ grocery-style packaging, the set saves customers more than 60% on the RRP, The Mirror reports.

Inside, there are five products, two of which are full-sized, including their Badgal Bang! mascara, and viral Benetint. There’s also a mini of the Hoola bronzer for creating a sunkissed glow, alongside the skin-smoothing Porefessional primer and a fan-fave Brow Setter.

As part of the offer, each product works out at £6.90 each. And considering the mini 2.5g bronzer is usually £17, that’s pretty impressive, making it a great way to try out Benefit’s products without having to splurge on the full price.

The set is already being praised by shoppers, earning a four-star rating. One wrote, “Bought this at the weekend in Meadowhall as a Christmas gift - such good value.”

A second added: “Benefit products never disappoint! I bought this set in-store at the weekend. I wish I could say it was for a gift, but it was for myself! I can’t believe the value for money with all my favourite makeup essentials. Bargain of the season!”

However, some people might be disappointed that not all of the products are full-sized or that they prefer the brand’s Rollerlash to their Badgal Bang. But if that’s the case, there are plenty of other gift sets on the Benefit website well worth checking out.

Back at Boots, other Star Gifts worth taking a peek at include the Liz Earle Glowing Hydrating Routine 4 Full-Size Piece Gift Set , worth £93 but down to £38, containing four full sized skincare heroes. Or there’s the MAC Go For Gold Golden Heroes set , which slashes £55 off a selection of the brand's most popular products. Retailing at £39, it contains four full-sized favourites worth £94 - but as part of the deal, they work out at £9.75 each.

Elsewhere, Charlotte Tilbury has launched several early Black Friday deals, including a discount on its beloved Dewy Pretty Blushed Cheeks Kit. The set contains two of the brand's best-selling products: the viral Hollywood Flawless Filter and a Cheek to Chic blush. Plus, Stacey Solomon's co-owned brand Rehab is offering up to 50% off its hair care heroes, a free mini brush, and a trial of its popular hair oil capsules with every order.
