South Point hotel-casino has completed the first phase of its spa and fitness complex renovation with the opening of a redesigned luxury salon, the property announced Friday.

The renovated South Point Salon features updated interiors with contemporary and Western-inspired design elements, including Esmeralda Green marble, walnut cabinetry, brass accents and new styling stations.

The salon offers haircuts, color treatments, styling, manicures, pedicures and nail services, along with dedicated grooming options for men. Guests can also purchase professional beauty products from brands including Kérastase, Moroccanoil and Dazzle Dry.

The salon renovation is the first completed phase of a broader overhaul of South Point’s spa facilities. The resort said the new South Point Spa is expected to open this fall.

The project follows another recent investment by the privately owned resort. In 2024, South Point completed a $6 million renovation of 84 suites on its 25th floor, upgrading furnishings, flooring and guest amenities.

Owned by casino operator Michael Gaughan, the off-Strip resort has more than 2,100 hotel rooms and has built a loyal customer base by emphasizing value and amenities aimed at both locals and visitors.
