You think you know Ann Taylor, but take another look, because this season, the heritage brand has undergone a chic glow-up with its This Is Ann Campaign. Ahead, the full scoop on how the stylish concept and imagery came together, the sleek collection and some exciting NYFW happenings! Allow us to (re)introduce you to Ann.
Shifting the narrative on what it means to be a working woman, AnnTaylor’s Fall 2026 campaign marks the brand’s first major 360-degree marketing campaign in years. Breaking away from idealized one-dimensional depictions of corporate life, the rollout is inspired by the brand’s actual customers—multi-dimensional, modern working women who navigate career, personal passion, and family every day. This Is Ann celebrates women who move seamlessly among work, weekends, evenings out, and everything in between. Confident, ambitious, and multifaceted, she isn’t defined by a single role—and neither is her wardrobe.
The glam campaign was shot by photographer Dan Martensen in New York City—where Ann Taylor’s HQ and design offices are based—on the Upper West Side and in Central Park. Embodying Ann Taylor’s “Love what you wear” tagline, the images dispel outdated perceptions with fresh looks that feel aspirational and relevant, while connecting with real working women. The goal? To reignite current Ann fans while also engaging new audiences with fashion-forward wardrobing that works for everything and anywhere.
As for the clothes themselves, they’re the ideal blend of polished professional wear with elevated, luxe textured pieces—in other words, the epitome of a versatile, modern wardrobe. Highlights include rich materials, one-of-a-kind layers that feel dimensional and polished, plus detailed elements, such as standout structured blazers, stunning scarf prints, and redefined denim that are designed to transition from work to evening with ease.
To bring the campaign to life, the brand had an immersive Soho activation to kick off NYFW, transforming the streets of Manhattan into an interactive expression of the brand’s evolution. Think: bold campaign imagery, custom branding, and a quintessential street food cart, along with an editorial-inspired newsstand stocked with exclusive This Is Ann campaign materials, including fall catalogs, collectible postcards, and even campaign-wrapped issues of your dear Daily.
“This Is Ann marks a new chapter for Ann Taylor, celebrating the woman at the center of our brand—confident, stylish, and moving seamlessly through every part of her busy life,” said Heather Gruccio, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. “The campaign and our Fall collection is a reflection of what the brand is today, a brand for the modern woman and her multidimensional life. We designed Fall for the way she’s dressing now, from modern suiting tha tworks well beyond the office to fashion-forward pieces she can make her own. The campaign reflects that same versatility and energy, and brings a modern point of view that feels distinctly Ann Taylor.”
But that’s not all Ann is up to these days. Continuing to expand its community-focused initiatives and digital footprint, the brand recently launched The Desk on Substack to serve as a modern digital hub for career and style insights. Plus, the brand is expanding Style 101, its successful online styling series for versatile wardrobe-building tips with top fashion stylists. Also on the horizon: an exclusive brand ambassador program launching in early 2027 to amplify authentic voices of the women who love and wear Ann Taylor.
