Cenomi Retail’s losses widen 148% in 2025; accumulated losses cross SAR 2.1bn

Riyadh - Mubasher: Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company (Cenomi Retail) suffered 148.40% higher net losses attributable to the owners at SAR 505.50 million in 2025, compared with SAR 203.50 million in 2024.

The loss per share deepened to SAR 4.40 in January-December 2025 from SAR 1.77 in the previous year, according to the income statements.

Revenues amounted to SAR 5.10 billion in 2025, signaling an annual growth of 5.29% from SAR 4.84 billion.

Furthermore, the Tadawul-listed company incurred accumulated losses worth SAR 2.11 billion, equivalent to 184.10% of its SAR 1.14 billion capital.

Quarterly Financials

During the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025, the net losses attributable to the owners of Cenomi Retail stood at SAR 295 million, higher by 95.88% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 150.60 million.

The Saudi company generated SAR 1.43 billion in revenues during Q4-25, up 9.74% YoY from SAR 1.31 billion.

Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the Q4-25 net losses hiked by 136.18% from SAR 124.90 million, whereas the revenues climbed by 19.15% from SAR 1.20 billion.

Salim Fakhouri, the CEO of Cenomi Retail, commented: “2025 reflects continued progress in our transformation and improving operational momentum across the business.”

“We delivered revenue growth supported by strong international performance, positive like-for-like sales, and expanding online channels,” the CEO added.

He commented: “Revenue per store improved significantly, reflecting the impact of our portfolio optimization and disciplined execution.”

“While profitability was affected by non-recurring expenses and goodwill impairment, our underlying operating performance strengthened during the year,” Fakhouri emphasized.

The CEO concluded: “With a streamlined balance sheet structure supporting cash flow generation and a more focused operating model, Cenomi Retail is moving from restructuring toward disciplined, sustainable growth.”

During the first nine months (9M) of 2025, the net losses of Cenomi Retail widened by 325.46% YoY to SAR 205.50 million from SAR 48.30 million.
