Amana Cooperative Insurance to market, sell Cyber Risk product

Riyadh - Mubasher: Amana Cooperative Insurance Company received final regulatory approval from the Insurance Authority on 21 September 2026 to market and sell a new "Cyber Risk Insurance" product.

The approval, granted via application number 9527, allows the company to offer the specialized coverage to group clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The product has been assigned the identification number (F-AMAN-1-C-26-044). This regulatory milestone follows the company's submission through the Insurance Authority's digital portal.

The authorization is effective as of the date of the notification, corresponding to 1448-04-10 on the Hijri calendar.

The introduction of the cyber risk product is part of the company's efforts to expand its insurance offerings for corporate and institutional segments.

No financial impact was disclosed in the regulatory filing regarding the expected revenue from the new product line.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, the insurance company’s net losses after Zakat rose to SAR 23.23 million from SAR 249,000 a year earlier.
