Eastern Province Cement logs SAR 141m net profits in H1-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Eastern Province Cement Company generated a net profit of SAR 141 million for the first half (H1) of 2026, representing a 12.80% increase compared to SAR 125 million in H1-25.

The company attributed the growth to higher cement sales volumes, increased precast concrete sales, and improved returns from associate companies.

Revenue for the half-year period rose by 14.61% to SAR 698 million, up from SAR 609 million a year earlier. Operating profit reached SAR 161 million, a 4.55% increase over the SAR 154M recorded in the prior-year period.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the first half of 2026 stood at SAR 0.80, versus SAR 0.74 in the previous year.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 69 million, a 9.52% increase from SAR 63 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

This quarterly growth was supported by higher total profit and gains from the revaluation of investments at fair value.

Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 2.46 billion as of 30 June 2026, compared to SAR 2.30 billion on the same date in the previous year.

In Q1-26, the company’s net profits jumped by 16.12% to SAR 72 million from SAR 62 million in Q1-25.
