Mutakamela Insurance incurs losses in Q1-26 amid nearly SAR 195m revenue

Riyadh – Mubasher: Mutakamela Insurance Company posted net losses after Zakat worth SAR 10.62 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, shifting from net profits of SAR 5.80 million in Q1-25.
The loss per share stood at SAR 0.17 in Q1-26, against an earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 0.09 in Q1-25, according to a bourse filing.
Insurance revenue declined by 5.67% to SAR 194.65 million in January-March 2026 when compared to SAR 206.35 million in the same quarter a year ago.
The company attributed the annual decrease in revenue to a decline in business, mainly from medical and motor insurance.
On a quarterly basis, the net losses incurred in Q1-26 deepened by 38.62% from SAR 7.66 million in Q4-25, while the insurance revenue shrank by 15.81% from SAR 231.231 million.
In 2025, Mutakamela Insurance reported net profits worth SAR 7.40 million and revenue of SAR 879.80 million.
