Luberef’s net profits leap 199.5% in Q2-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company (Luberef) posted 199.39% higher net profits at SAR 734.10 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 245.20 million in Q2-25.
The company attributed the growth primarily to higher base oil crack margins and increased sales volumes, according to a bourse filing.
Quarterly revenue jumped by 51.99% to SAR 3.42 billion from SAR 2.25 billion in the prior-year quarter.
The operating profit for the period reached SAR 748.47 million, a 191.08% increase compared to SAR 257.14 million a year earlier.
In the first half (H1) of 2026, the net profits climbed by 112.57% to SAR 992.07 million, while earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 5.90 from SAR 2.77.
Free cash flow for the six-month period reached SAR 1.06 billion, reflecting an annual leap of 346%.
Luberef has rescheduled the planned shutdown for its second expansion project to October 2026, with completion expected in H1-27.
As of 31 March 2026, Luberef’s net profits hiked by 16.45% YoY to SAR 257.96 million from SAR 221.50 million.
