Yansab generates SAR 11m net profits amid over SAR 1.3bn revenue in Q1-26

Riyadh – Mubasher: Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab) achieved net profits worth SAR 11.20 million during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.

The positive net income reflected an 18.24% decline from SAR 13.70 million net  profits in Q1-25, according to the income statements.

Yansab generated revenue of SAR 1.32 billion during the January-March 2026 period, marking a 12.69% decline from SAR 1.51 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.

The earnings per share (EPS), meanwhile, remained unchanged at SAR 0.02 in Q1-26 when compared with Q1-25.

On a quarterly basis, Yansab shifted to net profits in Q1-26 from net losses of SAR 53 million in Q4-25, while the revenue was 4.27% lower than SAR 1.37 billion.

President of Yansab Wazen bin Mubarak Al Solami, said: “Global economic activity remained relatively stable during the first quarter of 2026, supported by sustained demand and Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) levels indicating continued expansion.”

Al Solami noted: “However, markets were impacted by geopolitical developments, particularly in the region, resulting in disruptions to global trade flows and increased volatility in energy and feedstock markets. This led to shifts in supply and demand balances and price trends across the petrochemical sector.”

He added: “Despite market challenges, Yansab delivered strong and disciplined operational performance, underpinned by high reliability and operational excellence. Operations continued without any unplanned shutdowns, reflecting the effectiveness of proactive maintenance programs and advanced reliability practices.”

The top official added that EBITDA reached SAR 248 million, an increase of 36% compared to the previous quarter, noting that the net profit was supported by operational efficiency and disciplined execution.

Al Solami concluded: “At Yansab, we are proud to be part of the Kingdom industrial ecosystem, leveraging our strategic location in Yanbu Industrial City and the company's high operational reliability.”

In 2025, Yansab registered net profits worth SAR 79 million as well as revenue of SAR 5.60 billion.
