WATCH: The SAVE Act and DHS funding fumbled — again

OPINION:

The GOP controls the White House, the Senate, and the House — so why can’t they get anything done? Tim Constantine and David Bozell sound off on the SAVE Act, airport chaos, Iran and whether Republicans are capable of governing.

They should have had the SAVE Act passed months ago. I mean, DHS — what an abomination. What a disgusting display by Congress. Democrats, obviously, but the Republicans in perspective, too, because, you know, the Republicans control the White House with President Trump, but they control the House. They control the Senate. And yet we’re looking at the Save Act. We’re looking at the inability to fund DHS, which 24 hours ago, everybody was bragging. Oh, look, we got this solved. It’s all fine. And all of a sudden, that kind of blows up. Is the party unable to govern properly? Are they unable with this leadership team within the Senate or within the House to accomplish the goals?
