I am not after my late father’s property, I am doing what he instructed me- Adwoa Sarfo
by Mzta Churchill · GHANA PAGEAdwoa Sarfo, a Ghanaian politician and a key member of the largest opposition party, NPP has shared that the brouhaha that exists among her and other family members has nothing to do with her late father’s property.
In a statement that was issued on July 3, the former Member of Parliament for the Dome Kwabenya shared her part of the story, revealing that her movements and decisions do not in any way correlate with the acquisition of her late father’s wealth.
“The matter at hand is neither about any aspiration on my part to lead the Kristo Asafo Church, nor does it concern a dispute over church property, or, for that matter, inheritance”, a part of the statement shared.
Instead, Adwoa Sarfo claims that before her late father bought his ticket to the land of silence, he gave her some instructions, and she is only trying not to disappoint the late father, even though he is dead and gone.
She said “On his deathbed, my dad instructed me to ensure that this provision was expressly upheld, and I consider it my duty and responsibility to honor that directive as his first child”.
She noted that “I say with modesty that I am deeply blessed to be self-made and I have never sought to draw wealth or personal gain from my late father’s estate or property, but have for many years even before the passing of our dear dad chosen to walk a path defined by integrity, contentment, independence, and self-determined effort”.
