Salesgirl & Her Boyfriend Arrested Over Alleged GH¢5.1 Million Theft In Ho
by Armani Brooklyn · GHANA PAGEA 26-year-old salesgirl, Nerissa Akodor, and her boyfriend, Courage Addo, have reportedly been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of GH¢5.1 million from her employer in Ho.
According to reports, Akodor had been promoted in 2025 to a “Point Two” sales position in recognition of her diligence, earning a monthly salary of GH¢1,500.
However, investigations were reportedly launched after she left the company earlier this year, uncovering what authorities have since described as a pattern of financial misappropriation.
Preliminary findings suggest that Akodor allegedly diverted company funds over an extended period. Authorities further claim that portions of the money were transferred to her boyfriend, Courage Addo.
The couple is said to have used the suspected proceeds to acquire several high-value assets, including a Mercedes-Benz C250, a Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC, and a two-bedroom house.
Investigators have also pointed to unusual banking activity during the period following her promotion, alleging that Akodor was depositing as much as GH¢10,000 monthly into her personal account—an amount significantly higher than her stated salary.
The case is expected to continue at the Ho Circuit Court, where both suspects are likely to face charges related to theft and financial misconduct.
Authorities say investigations are still ongoing to determine the full scope of the alleged crime, including whether additional individuals may have been involved.
