It is difficult to make 400 Cedis a day from driving pragia- Pragia rider cries out

A Pragia rider who goes by the name Elvis, has stated that reports that the Pragia business is lucrative are a fallacy.

Speaking in an interview with GH Page, Elvis shared that there is not enough money in the Pragia business, disclosing that sometimes they are unable to even meet the money they are supposed to give to their owners.

Talking about his personal experience, Elvis shared that he rides a new Pragia, hence, he is expected to make 6 of 150 Ghana Cedis.

Apart from that, Elvis shared that he is also expected to buy fuel 150 Ghana cedis a tricycle without fuel can’t function, making it 300 Cedis in total.

According to him, whatever he makes apart from the 300 Cedis becomes his, revealing that he struggles to even make 350 Cedis in a day even though he works between 6am and 10pm.

Meanwhile, the SHS graduate noted that on Sundays, he doesn’t make any 6, so, whatever money he makes, apart from buying fuel becomes his.

“If the machine is new, and hasn’t been a year old, you have to make a 6 of 150 Cedis. Right now, you need 140 or 150 Cedis to fill the tricycle. So, buying fuel and the 6 will sum up to 300. With the work, you can sometimes make 350 Cedis or 400 Cedis. It depends on how you do the work”, he said.

“I can start work at 6 and close at 10pm. You can never drive a tricycle and make 500 Cedis in a day. It’s not even easy to get 400 Cedis in a day”, he added.
