Have you ever found yourself sitting on the couch in the middle of the day screaming at the TV while some idiot gets the price of a roll of paper towels catastrophically wrong? Of course, you have. We all have. The Price Is Right is a staple of American television, and soon the stage version of the show will be landing in Amarillo, Texas.

In this day and age, most of us are rightfully skeptical of almost everything we see on social media. So, when you see an ad saying that The Price Is Right Live! is coming to town, you have to do some research. First, you need to know what The Price Is Right Live! is. Second, you need to know if it's real.

First, The Price Is Right Live! is the stage version of the iconic TV show. The same games are played on a stage in front of a packed house, and audience members get called up to "Come on down" to play for cash and prizes. It's exactly like the TV show, except it's not on TV, your neighbor might get to play "Plinko", and there's no Drew Carey.

To answer the second question; yes it is absolutely real. The stage show is done all over the country giving us all a chance to berate our neighbors for not knowing the price of household cleaning products. The stage show has been going on for over 20 years.

When Is The Price Is Right "Comin' On Down" To Amarillo?

The bad news is that you're going to have a wait a little while for your chance to spin "The Big Wheel". The Price Is Right Live! won't be in Amarillo until March 14, 2025. It will be at Civic Center and kicks off at 7:30 PM. Tickets are already on sale, and if you want the good spots it would probably be best to hurry up and get them before they're scooped up.
