Video: Trump evacuated at White House correspondents’ dinner

A video feed from C-SPAN during the White House correspondents’ dinner showed the response of event attendees and the Secret Service as a man armed with guns and knives stormed the lobby outside the event, which was attended by President Donald Trump and multiple senior U.S. leaders Saturday night.

Guests dived under tables as the scene unfolded, and the president was hustled offstage. The White House said the president was unharmed. A law enforcement officer was shot in the bulletproof vest but is expected to be OK, sources told The Associated Press.
