You Can Get a Pixel Watch 5 LTE for the Price of the WiFi Version

by · Droid Life
DL Take: We tested the Pixel Watch 5 for several weeks, used it through workouts, wore it to bed, and tracked battery life, leading to our full review. The Pixel Watch 5 is an easy Wear OS watch to recommend, assuming you don't already have a Pixel Watch 4. If you have anything older than that, consider upgrading.

One specific version of the Pixel Watch 5 is currently discounted to a really great price. The 45mm LTE version, which typically retails for $529.99, can be had for $429.99. That’s the same price as the WiFi model.

For most people, if there is a discount available on the LTE versions of a Pixel Watch, we tend to recommend they go that route. While the WiFi models work well and there isn’t much of a difference between the two, it’s that added flexibility of being able to connect to cellular if at some point in life you will need it.

Also, many prepaid wireless carriers now offer free or discounted smartwatch add-ons (like Visible and Google Fi). With those discounts, you have yet another reason to choose an LTE-equipped smartwatch. And having that connectivity is kind of nice if you want to leave your phone at home for a run or if you walk away from your phone for a bit.

Weirdly, no other Pixel Watch 5 models are discounted at this time, but Walmart is the retailer for this solid deal.
