EU freezes Russian oil price cap for a year, grants Greece LNG exemption in new sanctions package
The EU will keep the Russian seaborne oil price cap at $44.10 a barrel for another year in its 21st sanctions package. Greece secured a last-minute exemption allowing limited LNG transfers to third countries under pre-2022 contracts.
