Four people were trapped when a hillside collapsed onto two houses following heavy rainfall in Hosai Village, Hsaingshan area of Monghsu Township, southern Shan State, on the morning of 8 September. The incident occurred around 7:00 am near work plot (L/20) in the Hsaingshan area, where a hillside landslide struck two houses. One of the houses was vacant, while a family of four resided in the other.
