Fuel prices in Myanmar have risen sharply, with the reference price for 92-octane gasoline increasing by 625 kyats per liter and diesel by 640 kyats, according to the Fuel Import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee. The committee’s reference prices issued on Sept. 25 put 92-octane gasoline at 4,450 kyats per liter, 95-octane gasoline at 4,600 kyats, diesel (HSD 500 ppm) at 4,790 kyats and premium diesel at 5,795 kyats in Yangon. Compared with prices last week, 95-octane gasoline rose by 650 kyats per liter and premium diesel by 745 kyats.
