Sensex, Nifty tank as Brent crude soars above $108; broad-based sell-off
At 9:38 am, the BSE Sensex was down 622.18 points, or 0.83%, at 74,280.41. The index had opened at 74,309.16. The Nifty 50 declined 217.60 points, or 0.93%, to 23,260.20 after opening at 23,270.30.
