Bobrisky was initially arrested by the EFCC on 4 April, 2024 for Naira abuse. His arrest eventually led to his six-month conviction by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on 12 April 2024.
