Dutch consumer group sues Netflix over subscription price hikes
A Dutch consumer claims foundation is suing Netflix over subscription price increases applied to existing customers in recent years. The Foundation for the Protection of Consumer Interests says the hikes were unlawful and is seeking compensation for affected subscribers.“The streaming service has repeatedly amended its terms and conditions without adequately informing consumers,” the foundation said. “In addition, earlier versions of these terms are no longer accessible, making it impossible for consumers to check which conditions originally applied.”
