Wingtech, the Chinese parent of the Nijmegen chipmaker Nexperia, said it will start international arbitration proceedings against the Netherlands under the Netherlands-China investment treaty, demanding more than 8 billion dollars in compensation for damage caused by the Dutch government’s intervention last year.
