VScooper: Nintendo is pitching Metroid movie with Sony and Universal in close race for the rights

A movie leaker says that Nintendo is currently in the process of pitching a movie based on the beloved Metroid franchise. Naturally there’s a lot of interest from various parties and currently Sony and Universal Pictures are in a close race to obtain the rights for the movie. Both studios are apparently leaning for a live action Metroid movie, but this could all change as it’s at the very early stages.
