Nintendo and Illumination have untitled film set for 2028 according to Universal

Nintendo is working with superb animation studio Illumination for yet another project it has been discovered. The news was uncovered on Universal Pictures International Spain’s release schedule and is listed with a 12th April, 2028 release date. It is not clear which Nintendo franchise this is for as it could be for Donkey Kong or Pikmin, or something else entirely. Hopefully all will be made clear soon.
