Suikoden I & II HD Remaster director is hopeful a new game will come

· My Nintendo News

Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has had the opportunity to chat with Takahiro Sakiyama about the upcoming Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, which is set to debut March 2025. Talking to the site, Mr. Sakiyama says he is hopeful about the future of the series and says they wish to expand the IP, which presumably means starting work on a new entry, if the demand is there from the fans of the classic JRPG series. Sakiyam also said that the Suikoden I & II HD Remaster’s release wasn’t actually timed to coincide with Suikoden’s 25th anniversary, but it was just fortuitous timing. Mr. Sakiyama says that one of his favourite things about the remake is the lack of loading times, which will hopefully apply to the Nintendo Switch version.
