Bruce Springsteen hugs Jeremy Allen White on set of his biopic

Bruce Springsteen embraced Jeremy Allen White on the set of a movie about his life, Deliver Me From Nowhere.

White, 33, is playing 'The Boss' in the upcoming biopic and has been shooting the film in New Jersey as of late.

Springsteen recently stopped by the set and returned Monday to chat with White. 

The duo shared a warm hug and exchanged a few words, with the I'm On Fire singer likely offering the actor words of encouragement. 

Director Scott Cooper was also seen on the set and he too enjoyed a chat with the rocker.

The Bear actor donned a leather jacket, fitted black jeans and leather shoes as he filmed scenes in a lot filled with classic cars.

Springsteen was dressed smartly in a classic flannel coat, jeans, and shades before he returned to his luxury SUV.

Deliver Me From Nowhere was adapted from a book of the same name written by Warren Zane. Cooper, the film's writer and director, called the production an 'incredibly humbling and thrilling journey.'

'The album’s raw, unvarnished portrayal of life's trials and resilience resonates deeply with me,' Cooper said in a statement to Variety.

'Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes' compelling narrative of Bruce's life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honoring Bruce's legacy in a transformative cinematic experience.'

Filming will primarily take place in locations throughout New York and New Jersey, but occasional scenes will be shot in Los Angeles.

Allen's co-stars include Jeremy Strong, Odessa Young, and Stephen Graham.

The Shameless actor was a 'top choice' to play Springsteen, and was confirmed as the film's lead in April.

White revealed to Deadline in September how 'excited' he was to star in the film.

'I can say I've got a really beautiful team of people helping me and Bruce has been really lovely and supportive and available, which has made this whole process an extra joy,' White said.

Springsteen discussed the upcoming biopic earlier this month, saying he felt good about the 'whole project.'

'I've seen the scripts and I've talked to the director,' Springsteen said.

'They're just putting it all together, so I don't have an awful lot to say about it, but I'm excited about it happening.'
