England international Missy Bo Kearns has devastatingly revealed that she has lost her baby just weeks after announcing her pregnancy.

The Aston Villa star shared that she and her 28-year-old boyfriend Liam Walsh, who plays for Luton Town, were expecting their first child in early March.

But Kearns sadly took to social media platform Instagram on Sunday to reveal that their baby had died during the early weeks of pregnancy.

'With very heavy hearts, we want to share that we've lost our baby during pregnancy,' she said.

'The past weeks have been filled with a kind of sadness that's hard to explain, and we're still trying to come to terms with it all.

'Right now, we're focusing on recovering and supporting each other through this.

'We truly appreciate the love and support around us more than we can say.'

At the start of the month, Kearns, 24, announced the pregnancy during a video, in which she painted the word 'Mum' on a wall, with Walsh later adding 'Dad'.

The couple revealed their child would be due in September, with Kearns showing pictures of the baby scans.

Prior to the heartbreaking news, Kearns was expected to miss the remainder of the season with Aston Villa and the start of the next campaign during her pregnancy.

The midfielder made her England debut last year and has made three appearances for the Lionesses to date.

Kearns was included on the standby list for Euro 2025, with England eventually going on to defend their title.

The England midfielder has been in a relationship with Walsh since 2022.
