Lauren Sanchez shoos husband Jeff Bezos away at Oscars Party
by RAVEN SAUNT, US LIFESTYLE EDITOR · Mail OnlineLauren Sanchez was caught on camera gently ushering husband Jeff Bezos away so she could lap up the limelight alone at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
The legendary bash, which was founded by former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter in 1994, immediately followed the Academy Awards at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
On Sunday night, Sanchez, 56, took to the event in a seemingly modest all-black ensemble.
She stunned in a strapless gown that featured tiered detailing from the hip and a cheeky thigh-high slit.
Sanchez finished the look off with a pair of tights, chunky heels and a selection of sparkly diamond accessories.
The mom wore her jet black tresses in a sculpted updo with a few strands loose to frame her face.
She initially posed up a storm alongside Amazon tycoon Bezos, 62, but then appeared to want to get some solo shots.
In a clip shared to X, formerly Twitter, Sanchez appeared to gesture to her husband to move out of the way so she could pose for cameras uninterrupted - to which he obliged.
The couple are also set to make an appearance at the Met Gala later this year after footing most of the bill for the May 4 event.
This year's dress code is 'fashion is art,' which will serve as a more specific baseline for guests against the gala's overall theme of 'costume art.'

In November, Anna Wintour responded to criticism surrounding the couple's role as sponsors in an interview with CNN, telling the outlet that Sanchez is a 'great lover of costume and obviously of fashion.'
She said that she believes that Sanchez would be a 'wonderful asset to the museum and the event.'
'We're very grateful for her incredible generosity,' Wintour continued. 'So we're thrilled she's part of the night.'
The decision came months after Sanchez appeared on the cover of Vogue's June 2025 digital issue, which was all about her lavish Venetian wedding to the Amazon tycoon.
The magazine spread featured behind-the-scenes photos of her wedding and dress fitting, designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
This year's gala marks the first in Wintour's new role as Vogue's global creative director and chief content officer for Conde Nast, with Chloe Malle taking over as head of editorial content for US Vogue.
Recently, Sanchez shared an insight into the upcoming Met Gala, which will see her and her husband serve as honorary chairs.
Speaking about the upcoming fashion event, she said: 'It has been such a fun and meaningful experience and when Anna [Wintour] called me and said, "do you want to co-chair and also be the sponsors of the Met?" I was so honored.
'And then she told me the theme, fashion is art. And these designers are true artists.'
