Little Mix stay silence as they ignore Jesy Nelson's pregnancy news
by BETHAN EDWARDS FOR MAILONLINE · Mail OnlineJesy Nelson revealed on Sunday she is pregnant with twins - but her former Little Mix bandmates have failed to publicly acknowledge her news.
The singer, 33, shared the happy news she is expecting twins with Zion Foster, 26, as she showed off her blossoming bump in a white bralette.
Jesy revealed she was set to become a mum for the first time to twins as she confessed she was 'eating for three', and shared two baby emojis.
As several celebrity pals - including her Love Island ex Chris Hughes - congratulated the singer, there has been a wall of silence from bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
Jesy walked away from Little Mix in December 2020 and she too failed to publicly congratulate Leigh-Anne and Perrie when they announced that they were pregnant just days apart from one another back in 2021.
Perrie is now a proud mum to son Axel who she shares with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Leigh-Anne shares twin girls with husband Andre Gray.
In August 2021, Jesy revealed that she was no longer in contact with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade.
Speaking to The Guardian at the time, she said when asked if they were in contact: 'No, not as much. Not now. I think we all need time. It's a big thing that's happened. I still love them to pieces. They were like my sisters.'
Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade, who continued as a trio following her departure, unfollowed Jesy after the singer took aim at them on multiple occasions.
MailOnline have contacted Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne's representatives for comment.
Announcing her pregnancy, Jesy was seen in the snap with her on-off partner Zion - months after the pair were reported to have split in September.
The singer and rapper were first linked in January 2022 before splitting up in November 2023 after Jesy struggled with their seven-year age gap.
The couple soon reunited before breaking up again five months ago - however they seem to be back on track now.
The couple sparked speculation they had split September after they wiped traces of each other on social media.
Jesy and Zion previously split last summer after Jesy struggled with their seven year age gap.
However they got back together and the pair recently collaborated on tracks together with one being unveiled in August and the others yet to be released.
Following reports of their separation, Zion confirmed they had split as he commented on a OK! TikTok post: 'Beautiful woman inside and out, wish her nothing but the best'.
Fans were saddened by the news. They wrote: 'Aww sad looked like a lovely couple' and 'No I was so excited for their tunes'.
'She deserves to be treated like the gorgeous person that she is' and ''Omg I'm shocked. They seemed so good together.'
When their split was reported, a source told The Sun: 'Jesy and Zion split last month and have completely cut ties with each other. It's not the first time they have broken up but friends think it's for good this time.
'It's slightly awkward though because they had an EP ready of music they have made together and Jesy doesn't want it released now.
'Fans have already heard one of their tracks and were hoping for more, but it's looking pretty unlikely at this point.'
