REVEALED: The Controversial Star Taylor Swift Feared Would Crash Her Wedding!

Taylor Swift‘s security was on high alert for a very unwelcome face to potentially show up to her wedding!

While Taylor and Travis Kelce did their very best to keep details of their wedding locked down, even sending out invitations that didn’t provide the full details of the event, it was still hard to keep the venue and date completely secret, especially as preparations began at Madison Square Garden last week.

Because of the high profile nature of the nuptials, Tay Tay was reportedly panicked that longtime thorn in her side Kanye West would try to crash her wedding!

Apparently, he had a show in San Antonio just one day after the wedding, so he’d be in the States, and it wouldn’t be out of the question for him to pop by NYC.

According to insiders who spoke to Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Tuesday, wedding planners had a contingency plan in place over concerns the rapper might show up uninvited. One source detailed:

“It was a real concern. Security had a plan in place if Kanye showed up. His name came up repeatedly during planning meetings. They weren’t taking any chances.”

Issues between the two performers date all the way back to 2009 when Ye stormed the MTV Video Music Awards stage, interrupting the Love Story singer’s acceptance speech. Years later, he’d go on to call her out in his song Famous — controversial lyrics that would spark a massive feud involving Kim Kardashian and lead Taylor to go into hiding for a year! It was a terrible time for the songwriter, and with Kanye’s increasingly erratic behavior in recent years, it’s normal to think she might be concerned he’d try to make headlines off her again! Another source shared:

“The fear was that he’d walk in. The fear was that he’d decide to make another headline at Taylor’s expense.”

Another confidant added:

“The goal was simple. Make sure Taylor’s wedding was remembered for her marriage — not another Kanye moment.”

We’re SO glad he didn’t mess with the wedding! That would’ve been so unfortunate.
