Bunnie Xo Gets Brutally Honest About What 'Hurts' The Most After Ex Jelly Roll's 'Slimy' Affair -- As He Announces Break To 'Heal'! 

Bunnie Xo is opening up about the pain of her ex-husband Jelly Roll‘s affair.

Nearly a year ago, the country music artist revealed on the Human School podcast that “one of the worst moments” of his adult life was cheating on the podcast host. Jelly shared that he “worked hard to repair the relationship,” and they came out on the other end “stronger” and reconciled, even renewing their vows in 2023. However, their reconciliation didn’t last long. They ended up divorcing this year.

Now, Bunnie is getting real with guest Denise Richards about the “betrayal” of cheating on Monday’s new episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. She said without mentioning Jelly’s name:

“When I had gone through a situation with an affair, it’s not the act that hurts you. It’s the lies. It’s just, like, whiplash. It’s slimy.”

We can imagine it’s also so heartbreaking for her! Bunnie then expressed that being the last to know about the affair was especially hurtful:

“There’s no way to feel good about it. Betrayal trauma literally rewires your brain to not trust people, to just feel disgusting because you’re the last to know. Nobody ever wants to be the f**king last to know. And when you are, it’s just — it’s a different kind of hurt.”

Between the betrayal and divorce, you’d think Bunnie would want to take a break and step away from the spotlight to process and heal everything she has gone through, but no! She’s moving full steam ahead with her career, which could include a reality show in the future! Wow! We can’t say the same about Jelly, though! During a show in Salt Lake City late last month, he announced he is taking a looong break after the tour ends, which concluded on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs:

“This has truly been a lifetime experience for me. And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two. I’m fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity.”

We’ll see if Jelly plans to take a complete break from the public eye like Ariana Grande or just time off from touring! Either way, let’s hope the pause is healing for him!
