As we’ve been following, Ariana Grande and the SpongeBob actor’s relationship came to an end this summer. Their relationship started off VERY controversially, with allegations he had an affair with the pop singer. To make things worse, his then-wife Lilly Jay had just given birth to their first child. At the time, Lilly made it clear where she stood with Ethan and Ariana — and the criticism toward the relationship didn’t stop coming!

Since the breakup, Ariana has seemingly gone back to her ex Ricky Alvarez, and sources say it’s not a rebound. As you might remember, Ari dated Ricky for a year back in 2015. But even now the rekindled romance is causing controversy, with the timeline of it being pretty sticky, and MORE allegations of the singer possibly cheating came to the forefront.

Needless to say, it’s been a complete mess, but is Lilly going to give the father of her child another chance? Several rumors and blind items suggested recently that Ethan might be getting back together with his ex-wife, which left the internet in shock. But a source for TMZ is saying that’s total BS.

They alleged there’s “absolutely not” anything romantic going on between Lilly and Ethan, they’re simply just co-parenting. And this isn’t just a scorned Lilly’s choice! Ethan reportedly isn’t wanting to get back together with his ex, either.

At the end of the day, per the insider, there’s no chance of a rekindled romance. That door has been shut and locked!
