Will Dhurandhar Truly Beat Baahubali 2?

So far, no Indian film has been able to beat Baahubali 2 at the US box office. Even after so many years, no movie has come close to its record.

Now, Dhurandhar has got a golden chance to do it. The big question is; can Dhurandhar cross Baahubali 2?

Baahubali 2 is still at the top with collections of over $20 million in the US. Dhurandhar is expected to collect around $15 million by the end of this week.

If it manages to earn another $5 million, it will beat Baahubali 2. Achieving $5 million at this stage is not easy, as the film has already been in theatres for some time.

However, this is the Christmas season, which works in Dhurandhar’s favour. If the film uses this holiday advantage well, crossing Baahubali 2 may not be very difficult. This kind of advantage has not come to many films before.

Prabhas’ Kalki could not beat Baahubali 2 mainly because it did not get such a holiday boost. If Christmas clicks for Dhurandhar, it could become the number one Indian film in North America.

In Bollywood, Pathaan is currently the highest-grossing Hindi film in the US with collections of around $17.5 million. There is a strong chance that Dhurandhar will also cross Pathaan and create a new record.
