Harry Anyanwu seeks support for visually impaired actress Maureen Okpoko

Anyanwu made the appeal in a video shared on X on Monday, where he disclosed that the actress requires financial assistance to access medical treatment that could help restore her vision.
The actor, who said he visited Okpoko in Enugu State, urged colleagues in the Nigerian film industry to rally around her and support her recovery efforts.
“I am right here in Enugu with my sister of inestimable value, Maureen Okpoko. Nollywood, let’s reach out to her and support her. She’s blind, but she can restore her sight,” Anyanwu said.

He called on actors, actresses and well-meaning Nigerians to contribute towards the cost of her treatment, stressing that collective support could provide the actress with an opportunity to regain her sight and improve her wellbeing.
Okpoko is a veteran Nollywood actress known for her contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
