A luxury 56-metre superyacht valued at approximately $50 million has been filmed repeatedly striking the walls of the Corinth Canal in Greece.
The incident involving the vessel BLUE II took place on Saturday 8 August 2026 as it attempted to transit the narrow waterway. Footage shows the yacht struggling to maintain a safe course and making contact with the steep canal banks at several points.
The video was recorded by Michalis Papamanolakis and shared on the YouTube channel Korinthognosia. In the clip, the nearly 56-metre BLUE II can be seen passing within inches of the walls before glancing off them more than once.
