Sing for Greece 2027: ERT Opens Eurovision Song Submissions

ERT has opened submissions for Greece’s song at the 71st Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in May 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The selection will again run through “Sing for Greece,” with two semi-finals and a national final. Up to 20 songs will compete in the semi-finals. Twelve will go through to the final by public vote only. The winner will be chosen by a mix of public and jury votes.

Last year’s three contest nights drew strong ratings on ERT1 and ERTFLIX. Organisers say the format gave both artists and viewers a stake in the national entry and will return this year with a renewed approach.

Entries can be submitted online from Tuesday, 22 September 2026, until Sunday, 1 November 2026, at 23:59. The call for entries, full rules and submission form are at https://www.ert.gr/singforgreece2027.
