A ban on sailings from the ports of Piraeus and Lavrio is in effect until 3 pm because of strong winds reaching force 9 and temporarily 10 Beaufort in parts of the Aegean, according to the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

The passenger ferry Blue Star Delos departed Piraeus normally at 7:20 am on its scheduled route to Paros, Naxos, Thira and Ios.

In the Argosaronic Gulf, only certain conventional passenger-cargo routes are operating; no hydrofoil services are running. Morning departures from Rafina are expected to proceed normally. The Agia Marina–Nea Stira and Arkitsa–Edipsos routes are suspended due to adverse weather.

Passengers planning to travel today are advised to check with local port authorities or travel agents for any changes or cancellations.
