Animation film on manuscripts

Mysuru: Oriental Research Institute (ORI), University of Mysore (UoM), in collaboration with Infosys Foundation and N. Ranga Rao & Sons Pvt. Ltd., will be presenting ‘Granthakatha,’ an animation film on the world of manuscripts created by Qixotics Creative Ltd., at Infosys campus, Mysuru, on Sept. 25 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Tejasvi Surya, MP, Bengaluru South LS Constituency, will inaugurate the event. Dr. D.P. Madhusundanacharya, Director, ORI, will deliver welcome address.

On the occasion, the book titled ‘Virabhadravijaya – Campu – Kavyam,’ edited by Dr. S.C. Shobha, Research Assistant, ORI, will be released.

A. Devaraju, Commissioner, Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, GoK and Satheesha B. Nanjappa, Senior Vice-President and Head – ET&A, Infosys Ltd., Mysuru, will be the guests of honour. Prof. N.K. Lokanath, Vice-Chancellor, UoM, will chair the event.

Dr. Krishna A. Nagasampige, Research Assistant, ORI, will propose a vote of thanks.
