City artist presents Mysore Painting to Minister

Mysuru: Dr. Sushma Ashok, who is practicing traditional Mysore art paintings, had a great opportunity to meet  Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Education, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

She held discussions on Indian art forms and also presented Mysore painting of Lord Krishna.

Sushma has established Bhuvi Art Studio at Gokulam, Mysuru, where they research and work on different forms of arts specialising in Mysore painting.

Sushma’s husband Ashok Palya, former Director, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, had also joined her.
